Meet Ruth, our Chingford Network Manager...
Originally from rural Northern Florida, I have lived in London for 11 years and moved to Walthamstow in 2012. I Previously worked as a political organiser and volunteer coordinator before moving to the UK, where I became a lecturer in Sociology before taking a role as Volunteer Coordinator at The Mill in Coppermill Lane. I love Chingford for its green spaces. I am looking to formulate and realise a radical vision for the Chingford area, one that is inclusive, long-lasting and impactful. I am eager to bring together organisations, volunteers, residents and council services to improve the lives of the people who live, work and play in our three northern most villages.
